Dear Sandra

While I can sympathise on many of the points you raised in your last email,
I must say that from what I've seen of the process used at the last meeting,
it was an utter shambles.

As a (frustrated) person who has watched and participated in the DNS debate
over the last 2-3 years, I cannot support what happened at the Friday
meeting and I believe it completely unfair to the public to send the now
radically different document to the government.

Public comment was on a one or two class based system. The WG suddenly
jumped up with three. Much as I hate the amount of time that has been wasted
on this topic of debate already, I do not believe this document can go forth
without public discussion on the three class system.

This to me is the only way to make sure there is consensus. To me, if the
DNA of .asn.au and an ISOC-AU Director have severe problems with the way the
Friday meeting was held, I am inclined to want to see a better process used.

Regards,
Antony.
