Yes, me, with ausmarket.com and ausmarket.net, I applied for both,
in about March this year, got confirmation for both, and then about 2
weeks later I'm told that ausmarket.com was allocated to someone else,
AFTER I had applied for it. Result, one useless .net, well, for my
purpose anyway.

I was told by Network Solutions, tough (though in a lot more words!)
