These points have sold me on this idea. While there are still lots of
devilish details (like who's going to foot the bill for hosting), I
think the proposal has enormous potential.

I think it would be a fantastic thing to have _every_ business in
Australia have a minimal default home page which can be customised
and further developed as the business sees fit.

This is the sort of IT infrastructure which could rocket Australia to
the forefront of Internet adoption.
