pH34R sein "Owned by" hinterlassen.

Who owns fandom? (Salon) 13Dec
http://www.salon.com/tech/feature/2000/12/13/fandom/index.html
In 1993, Burrell created a series of Web sites with names like "Rat Patrol
Fandom," "Elfquest Fandom" and, in 1995, the ever-popular "Xena Fandom,"
which, she says, "started taking over all of my server space." Inspired by
the success of those sites, Burrell resolved to compile her fan devotions
into a more comprehensive television site exploring cult series ranging from
"Columbo" to "The Twilight Zone" to "Farscape." In July 2000, she chose what
seemed a logical domain name for her new project: Fandom.tv. Three months
later, on Oct. 30, Burrell received a letter from the law firm Troop,
Steuber, Pasich, Reddick and Tobey demanding the "unconditional surrender
and transfer of the Infringing Domain Name" Fandom.tv; accusing her of
violating the Anti-Cybersquatting Act (the punishment for which are fines up
to $100,000 per domain name); and threatening immediate legal action. For
good measure, they threw in a monetary offer: $250 if Burrell agreed to
abandon the domain name immediately.

Sell your web site or domain name for big money (Affiliate Match) Dec
http://www.affiliatematch.com/free_reports/selldomain.htm
There's gold in web site domain names. You probably saw the headlines when
business.com changed hands for $7.5 million. Wine.com went for big bucks,
too. And who can forget when AltaVista had to shuck out millions to buy
their name from the original owner? On the other hand, you may have surfed
some of the auction sites to find perfectly good domains going for peanuts.
Even $25 seemed like a starting bid no one wanted to touch. So how do you
cash in on the domain name trading craze? Here are a few simple tips to get
you on the right track to E-real estate profits.

The EC adopted a proposal to create a registry to run the Internet top level
domain ".eu". This proposal is a crucial step towards the creation of the
".eu " top level domain on the Internet since the proposed registry will be
the body that will run the domain in practice. The Commission is also in
regular contact with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers
(ICANN) so that the creation of the ".eu" code on the Internet can become a
reality once the registry is in place.

Zentralstelle für die Vergabe von Internet-Namen und -Adressen (ICANN), so
dass der Bereichsname ".eu" im Internet eingeführt werden kann, sobald das
Register besteht.

Gericht: Domain-Name www.rechtsanwaelte.de wettbewerbswidrig (Yahoo) 12Dec
http://de.news.yahoo.com/001212/71/185hf.html
Die Verwendung des Begriffs "Rechtsanwälte" in der Internet-Adresse einer
Anwaltskanzlei ist nach einem Urteil des Landgerichts München I
wettbewerbswidrig.
unvereinbar.
