Chris and committee members,

May I suggest that auDA take a closer look at their liabilities under this
open forum format.

I for one don't want to see membership fees wasted on legal disputes.

I have recently been involved with a client who is exploring the option of a
Media Forum in a similar open format to that adopted by auDA.

The clear legal advise is that, despite any number of disclaimers etc, the
host of an unedited open forum stands liable for comments made by members of
the list that make defamatory or libel comments such as examples recently
seen on this forum.

I also recommend caution to those who still seem to think that an open forum
is to say what one likes. The facts are ' if your want to stick your head
up in a provocative manner, be prepared to get it shot off at a cost'.

Also, trying to hide behind fake identity is stupid as you can be traced.

Kerry Henry
