ICANN RESPONDS TO DOT-BIZ DECISION
ICANN responded to last week's dot-biz decision finding that
aspects of the initial name allocation constituted an
illegal lottery under California law with an advisory that
notes the ICANN contract with Neulevel was not found to be
unlawful.  That said, ICANN believes that the decision, if
upheld on appeal, would be harmful to the evolution of the
global Internet.

FSA.CO.UK MAY GO BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL OWNER
An independent expert has recommended overturning an earlier
Nominet decision to transfer the fsa.co.uk domain from a
small software company to the UK's Financial Services
Authority.  The FSA was concerned with misdirected emails,
but the expert ruled that reasonable steps were taken to

CHINESE COURT ISSUES TIMELY RULING FOR ROLEX
A Beijing court has ordered a Chinese company to stop using
rolex.com.cn. The court ruled that the domain registrant
"violated the basic principles of honest credibility."
