Dot-info becoming hot new domain on Web
A Bucks County company administers the suffix, and has registered
500,000-plus names with it since Nov. 2000.
Dot-com, dot-org and dot-net are soooo 20th century.
A hot new suffix for the Web site of today is dot-info - as in
www.crosswordpuzzles.info, a Web address registered by a Utah
manufacturer of software puzzles.

GERMAN COURT TURNS DOMAIN NAME DISPUTES INTO SHELL GAME
A German court has ruled that oil giant Shell has a better
right to the shell.de domain than an individual named
Andreas Shell who had already registered the name. The
German federal court in Karlsruhe said in its ruling the use
of web addresses should be decided by determining which
party had the overriding interest in owning the name, even
if someone else had already registered it.
