ICANN Issues Preliminary Report On Board Teleconference (from BNA

ICANN has issued a preliminary report on its board teleconference
held yesterday. The board set a schedule for the identification of
the registry operator of the dot-org domain with a tentative
examination fee of $35,000 attached to the process. It also passed a
resolution confirming that it will accept donations targeted toward
the development of At Large mechanisms for "meaningful,
