the future of the news...

the future of the news...

Hi all

I know many, or at least some, of you enjoy the news I post to the
auDA list, but due to changes with me and my work, it¡¦s quite likely
that from towards the end of May, the news will die unless I can get
some sort of payment or sponsorship for it. What I am wondering is
are there any people on the auDA list who would like to use the news
in some way? Or do you know of an organisation who may wish to use my
news. The news could be modified to cover other topics, arranged in
any order, and the format can be designed to suit the needs of
whoever would use it.

Two examples of how the news could be used are:
„h to attract customers etc back to a web site ¡V it would give them
a reason for regular repeat visits, as was the case with the news I
compiled at nic.at, the Austrian domain name registry (see
http://www.nic.at/english/domainnews.html and
http://www.nic.at/english/community.html), or currently do for the
Alfa-Redi web site <http://www.alfa-redi.com/noticia>
„h as a branded mailing list to clients and customers.

This could be done on a sub-contracting basis, or as part of a wider
job remit, which could be discussed, and I can be flexible about
where I am based.

If anyone is interested in discussing this further, or has any ideas,
please get in touch so we can discuss it further.

Cheers
David
