That is not quite true.  The AVCC is actively pursuing the introduction of
three new 2LDs.
university.au, uni.au, and research.au.  So it definitely has an "interest
in the management of auDA".  The candidates of course have been nominated by
the AVCC, and thus may not
"represent" the AVCC.
