David,

The DNA.com mail out is different from the net.au one we have issued an
alert about toiday. We issued an alert about the .com mail out last
month (http://www.auda.org.au/about/news/2003061903.html) and understand
that The ACCC is now investigating.

Subject: RE: [DNS] .net.au Regsitration Offer

I've had phone calls from clients, again complaining that they are
confused as to whether their domain is up-to-date. The latest mailout
from DNA states that the .com equivalent of their domain name is
UNREGISTERED. What they don't make clear is that the .com.au domain is
not affected.
I'm tired of filtering this sort of misleading muck. I'm happy if my
clients are happy, but this shock marketing is unethical, surely.
