James As has been pointed out to you recently, auDA has a process in place for dealing with ideas for new SLDs. You may wish to note that the .pro domain space is being sold to professionals at the third level - ie .law.pro, .med.pro, .cpa.pro etc. Is this the format you would propose for a .pro.au domain space as I can't see too many people wishing to pay good money for a fourth level domain (ie jamesguy.law.pro.au)? For that matter there doesn't appear to be much demand around for the .pro domain spaces themselves... jon >-- Original Message -- >Reply-To: dns§lists.auda.org.au >Date: Mon, 21 Jul 2003 18:03:11 +1000 >From: jamesguy <jamesguy§guyassociates.com.au> >To: dns§lists.auda.org.au <dns§lists.auda.org.au> >Subject: [DNS] .pro info > > >The following link > >http://www.internetnews.com/bus-news/article.php/2196441 > >is the kind of thing that should be available in Australia and the obvious >organisation to broker access in this jurisdiction is auDA. > >--------------------------------------------------------------------------- >List policy, unsubscribing and archives => http://www.auda.org.au/list/dns/ >Please do not retransmit articles on this list without permission of the > >author, further information at the above URL.
