Online Consultations on Financial Mechanisms Start
Today
The Task Force on Financial Mechanisms (TFFM) was
decided at the summit in 2003 and finally set up on 4
October 2004 in New York. As civil society
participation in the Task Force is extremely limited,
and the TFFM staff at UNDP is already working on the
final report, there are only few chances for open
discussion and consultation. Two are coming up in the
next few weeks: The UN ICT Task Force and Global Forum
in November in Berlin, and an online consultation on
financing mechanisms that has started today.
