Let us hope and pray that Australia does not go down the same Litigation
Road - That Australian Corporations (and the general public) have enough
sense to see what a stupid and eventually counter-productive method of
getting what you want.

I can see the implied problem of multiple 2ld's, but the above cited case
is a prime example.

What if we were to make it a condition of registering under iether 2ld that
the prospective domain names under different 2ld's - ie frys.com.au, and
frys.biz.au be owned by entirely different corporations?
This gives the ability for more than one to have the domain they want
(within reason), and not have to fight for it.
