It does not matter - as of last night I tendered my resigantion. I gave a
couple of reasons for that action, one of which is the unbeleiveable
amount of fluff that has been generated over the whole ADNA issue, the
other is that my time is at the moment very valuable to me elsewhere (I
have managed to devote very little real time to ADNA).

I wish all concerned all the best, ADNA is the only hope for a long time
(now and in the future) for competition to be introduced - keep chipping
away at it and tearing it down - that ensures the status quo.

I really wish no further part in a discussion that choses to label hard
working people as nothing but self interested slobs who could not give a
damn for what they are working for. Please go out of recruit your frog
experts, your janitors and other to reform the DNS system but those who
actually hold the 2LD's will not care or listen nor do they have to (that
is the point - they do not have to listen, they do not have to permit
competition in their little spaces, they do not have to come to the
table - but they slowly are).

The fact that people who have chosen to remain outside the mainstream DNS
system (by starting their own) seem to have taken over, at least this
forum, is in itself outstanding - then they claim to have relevance to the
real system.

My departing does not exactly leave a gap as one of the main reasons for
leaving was that I had done very little at ADNA except attend meetings and
people on boards should be doers. If the people who think the board is
almost tottaly biased cannot suggest replacements then that just about
says it all - they should shutup and stop self aggrandising without
showing a shread of substance to their ideas.
