Also, I'm wondering:

(a) why are there no 2-character TLD's in these alternates;
(b) what happens to the DNS if one of the alternate TLD's
    coincides with an existing mainstream TLD;
(c) is AUSRC a subscriber to eDNS, as found at
    http://www.edns.net/ ?
