[DNS] Melbourne IT Spam...

Hi all,

Interesting... I just received my first-ever spam message from Melbourne IT
to "undisclosed recipients"... sure there is an unsubscribe link on the
footer (after all the html junk has downloaded)... however nothing about it
being an opt-in mail list... and of course I never advised them that I
wanted to receive this trash... it's just plain unsolicited spam - a sign of
times to come?

PS - I do hope the AuDA code of conduct will be compiled BEFORE the calls
for competitive tender go out... it would be nice for the companies
tendering as well as the broader community to know exactly what is
acceptable behaviour before committing to any contractual agreements.

Rgds, Don
