Again, all quite true - however the point I am trying to promote is that "at
some time", all, or at least most businesses will be required to comply with
this legislation - hence the smart move would be to incorporate appropriate
strategies during current policy formulations, rather than having to
re-write policies (and reinvent businesses) in 6 or 12 months time.

For the purpose of this discussion, it would seem prudent to incorporate
privacy strategies into the draft Code of Conduct - to do otherwise is to
simply invite another drawn-out and duplicative procedural process in the
near future.
