ICANN may delay talk of public's role 
The nonprofit group charged with maintaining the Internet's address
system will likely not decide until next year how to open
participation to everyday Internet users, members of a task force
said Monday. 

A task force set up by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names
and Numbers (ICANN) issued a final set of recommendations Monday that
it said would allow regular Net users to participate in decisions by
the global standards-setting body.

Free Park registers 10,000 domains

PRESS RELEASE

An online domain registration service that has set new standards for
Domain Name registration has passed the 10,000 domain names
registered mark. The www.FreeParking.co.nz service, which began 12
months ago, now caters for 10% of the total New Zealand market and
has provided registration services for 25% of all domains registered
in past 12 months.
