Well I just looked at the SOA of the .com.au record as in:

With the second one being what box2.aunic.net shows! It does not have
ns.ripe.net listed at all! Strange as it should be Authority Answer!

The simple answer is, the copy of the com.au zone at ns.ripe.net differs
from the com.au zone present at box2.aunic.net (the current master for the
com.au zone).  *Why* it differs, I'm looking into.
