Adam,

If you bothered to read the Call For Proposals For New .au 2LDs
<http://www.auda.org.au/policy/panel-newname-2002/proposals.html>
you may have noticed that wasn't the question that was asked.
Section 3.4 asked for "proposals for changes" to conf.au and info.au
domains.

As far as I have been able to determine there is no formalised
policy at this stage for usage and registration in conf.au
and is solely at the discretion of Robert Elz.  (Do you know different?)

My opinion is that a formalisation is needed;  given that context
are your prepared to venture some opinion on the proposal?
