Hi Francis,

Thanks very much for your time in replying.

Obvsiously misunderstood the policies, because I thought no matter when 
you transferred, you automatically started a new 2yr term.  Therefore, I 
was under the impression that you virtually lose the time you had left 
with the old Registrar.

However, you are saying a .au domain can be transferred to a different 
Registrar any time within the last 3 months before expiry, and your 2 yr 
renewal expiry date stands.

I hope I'm interpreting it correctly now.
