An example of one of the registrations accepted by Explorer on behalf of
Proweb:

Whois Response for essure.net.au:
Domain Name: essure.net.au
Last Modified: Never Updated
Registrar ID: R00020-AR
Registrar Name: Explorer
Status: inactive
Registrant: Jacqui Maiolo
Registrant ID:
Registrant ROID: C1299657-AR
Registrant Contact Name: Jacqui Maiolo
Registrant Email: mail§domainregistration.com.au
Tech ID: C1299657-AR
Tech Name: Jacqui Maiolo
Tech Email: mail§domainregistration.com.au

Although this domain name is registered to me and I have received the domain
name password, it shouldn't be. It is a major stuff up and a good reason why
consumers should be aware of who they are dealing with. Proweb obviously
received a registration order for this domain name but instead of using the
details supplied to them by the customer they've simply referred to an old
copy of aunic data and used my email address which was noted on the .com.au
version of this domain some time ago. Why on earth they also decided to put
me as the registrant is anyone's guess. Someone else obviously paid for this
registration and is probably assuming it was registered to them accordingly.

My guess is the headaches are going to last longer than the $$ for both
Proweb and Explorer.

Regards,

Jacqui Maiolo
