id like to start a vote here and now, that if this ever gets done in .AU, it
only gets pointed to a site that is purely informative, and does not drive
traffic.

E.G. even the current ausregistry website directs traffic to registrars and
away from resellers, so even that would be unnaceptable.

Prefereably, i'd like this brought up by a member or other atendee at the
next AuDA Shindig, and see what the official stance is on implementing this
kind of thing in the future.

It may be beneficial for all of .au, as long as doesnt drive trafffic, and
may be a sign of the times.

Best regards,
Sean.

I apologise for bringing up a gTLD issue on the .au DNS list.

Verisign (the registry for gTLDs .com and .net) has recently added:
	*.com	15M	A	64.94.110.11
	*.net	15M	A	64.94.110.11
to the .com and .net zone files.

This means any unregistered domains in .com and .net will now point
to a Verisign web site (currently a Verisign search portal).
