My point is that if the domain name is "legitimised" by being registered, then doesnt it follow it could then be advertised ? If one goverment endorsed agency accepts money for the reg, doesn't it then mean the owner should have the right to register a matching company name thru another endorsed government agency ? Have the email address published in the white pages ? Sorta opens a whole can of worms .... <devils advocate> Why? Its not like there's this big directory of domain names you can easily search.
