of .com.au, and it was grandfathered under successive policy
alterations (as were other people's domains).

Out of curiosity, how would condensing my trading name "Cynosure
Research" (0164247F) be ineligible in your world for cynosure.com.au,
and yet "Connect Infobahn Autralia"[1] (which, incidentally, shows no
matches on the ASIC database) be eligible for cia.com.au? Even if it is
spelt in the non-Vic way, it still makes no matches.
