just because its not useful to you doesnt mean its not useful to the owner. 
why should your value system be inflicted on the person who actually shelled 
out the money for it?

you make statements like the above and then wonder why I call you commies.

in the larger scheme of things utility is subjective and as such regulation 
regarding value is totally unjustified. you have no more right to inflict 
your ideas on value on others. this is why we have free markets and why free 
markets breed prosperity.
