Well if you read the backnotes, you'll see that the NOIE meeting is put
back because of the IANA focus (which is a damn sight more important right now)

So I'd say September is more like when things start.

And I think you'll find that part of a handover is making the current .AU
person, and existing 2LD under .AU feel comfortable. Rushing things (which
is essentially what ADNA was about) does not work in this problem space.

So yes, 2001 is a really good timeframe for me. A realistic goal.
