Apart from the additional (IMO, negligible) load on DNS servers; more
varied domain names will make absolutely no different to the relative
difficulty of finding resources using the appropriate search engines.

More *resources* requiring indexing will slow searching down; but this
will happen regardless of whether the new resources are placed under new
domain names or existing ones.

It is the *content* that counts; not the domain name that it is
distributed from.
