The insurer-broker-client relationship sounds somewhat like a reseller
arrangement to me.

registrar-reseller-client.

The client is insured through the insurer, but goes through the broker for
all interactions.

Just as a registrant goes to a resellers site, places an order, and can
manage their domain through an interface on the professional reseller site,
renew, get support etc.

Dear Rodney

Whilst it is true that the insured is shown on the policy document, the
insurer in most
events will communicate with the broker and not directly with the insured.
So the
analogy is sound.

I would have thought you would have been sympathetic to the principle of
agency in
regard to domain names. I seem to remember that you seemed to assume that
you
were effectively the agent for the registrants of some 1600 domain names in
that
"little incident" a while back.

Still got that quote from Tamara on the site I see. She tells me she is sick
of flogging
a dead horse especially as she no longer works for you. Did you pay her for
the
"endorsement"? Or the right to use her name? Did you?
