It is not a freedom it is a loop hole.

Was it you that said setting up a registry is not a
simple matter of adding lines in a database and that
overheads are involved. Well your so called freedom is
at the expense of another namely the time and effort
of the registry and the ultimate impact is on the
average registrant with higher domain fees, namely me.
