 very true. in fact being of the old school I'm more than happy
 with what the dns was designed to do and how it presently *mostly*
 functions. For instance I am opposed to tradmarks in the DNS as
 the DNS Forum will attest to. 

 I was just pointing out _how people use the system_. There has been
 talk of how the system is used on this list and some of it has
 been suggesting things other than what my research has shown, hence
 the email.
